Opening Your Heart
							Prepare for a 
							walk by checking where you would like to go to 
							visit/share with a tree. 
							
							Begin your 
							walk expressing gratitude and love to the area.  You 
							may wish to say, I love you and thank you for being 
							here. 
							
							Go to a tree 
							that beckons to you and ask if you can hug it. 
							
							Notice the 
							tree after the hug.  
							
								Are there 
								any marks on the tree? 
								
								Is the 
								tree leaning? 
								
								Does the 
								tree have seed pods or fruit?

							Using the 
							observations, ask yourself if this tells you 
							anything about your heart. 
							
							Thank the tree 
							and your heart. 
							
							Ask in your
							
							quiet time how you can use the observations 
							to open up your heart.
