The Magic of Water
Experiments: 1. Take a small plant and put a clear plastic bag over it for overnight. In the morning you will see drops of water on the inside. This is how the plant breathes. 2. Put red food coloring in a plastic glass and stand celery in it to see how long it takes the water to climb up the stem. This shows the movement of water. 3. Mix a batch of bubble brew (1/2 cup of dishwashing soap and one quart of solar water in a pan). Make a bubble frame. ( Thread some string through 2 straws and knot.) Dip the frame into the bubbles and pull out slowly so soap film doesn't break. Enjoy. |
