Create a Color Chart
1. Gather supplies. Watercolor paper, Ruler, Pencil, Watercolors, Brush and Palate. 2. Draw 1 inch squares on paper using ruler and pencil. 3. Select 2 colors of paint and squeeze some on palate. 4. Starting with one color, dab a bit of paint on first square of paper. 5. Add dot of 2nd color to first, and dab a bit of that paint on 2nd square. 6. Add dot of 2nd color to mixture, and dab a bit of that paint on 3rd square. 7. Continue adding 2nd color of mixture, and dabbing on to paper in order until the 1st color becomes the 2nd color. 8. Enjoy experimenting with other colors. 9. You may be inspired to paint a tree, flower, or rainbow using the new colors.
