COMPANIONS ON THE ROAD Naniloa Smith and Mary Koehler November/December Issue Vol 10 Something to Do FUN WITH FAMILY
1. Try something new. Organize a skit, song or sing along. Add the kazoo or some instrument for fun. 2. Share a story. Have fun reflecting on what to share. 3. Gather some music for dancing and roll back the rug. 4. Select an area to go for a walk. Take along your walking stick and snacks. 5. Make your favorite food and share. 6. Sing around a campfire. 7. YOU have fun. Keep yourself happy.
FUN WITH FAMILY was created from activities and classes listed on the website www.inthedesertchildrensproject.org In the Desert Children’s Project is a nonprofit 501(c) (3) organization. Donations and contributions are welcomed. Naniloa Smith has a MS in education. She has worked with children over 30 years in the classroom and believes that “we’re all children and need to play”. She loves life and moving ahead with new ideas and projects. Naniloa lives in Moline, Illinois. Mary Koehler has a BS in education. She has raised 7 children with her husband Kurt. She loves doing art projects and exploring new activities. Mary resides in Hillsboro, Oregon
