March 2007 Volume 3
NS: ”This month I’m in Georgia coordinating the Quilt
Class. The facilities for the class are great. Three
sewing machines will be available.”
MK: “I am so
looking forward to the class. I went to look for fabric and
saw one fabric I loved. I ended up going back the next day
choose the rest of the fabrics from the one I loved….it was
easy.”
QUILT CLASS IN
MARCH
The class will be
held in Alpharetta, Georgia, a town outside of Atlanta. You can
email for information on this class if you want to start looking
for your fabric or booking your flight and hotel.
The class is held
in the home of Jeff and Vicki Murphy. Jeff has helped Vicki set
up a sewing room for her quilt making. It includes a table Jeff
built especially to Vicki’s specifications – built to
accommodate the quilt lay out and to bend from the waist.
Click on March Events
for registration. If you can’t make the trip but would
like to receive the worksheet and make your
quilt at home, you can do that, too

A Little Bit of Introspection
Consider a
problem or area in your life where it appears the answer is
either or...
Relax and be
open to a new solution or idea...
NS:
Amazing. I did this and saw a whole new way to approach
it. The solution I saw felt so loving.
MK: I
notice when it feels either, or...I am stuck. When I relax
and let go...something new shows up.
There is the possibility of
a new rhythm when working two by two.
A Recipe
Salad with
Goat Cheese
Make a
Vinaigrette using 1 cup olive oil, 1/4 cup Balsamic Vinegar, 1/2

Responses from
our Readers on the Road
In the Desert Children’s Project
In the Desert Children’s Project received a question
from a reader who asked, “What is so special about blue
solar water? The Blue Solar Water is created by
placing it in the sun for an hour in a blue bottle.
This allows the sun to add needed energies and
vibrations to the water. It allows you to receive
inspirations to fulfill your purpose in life. Children
especially like to use it to refresh themselves or spray
on cuts or ‘owies’.

how you can use it.
Making a Fleece Scarf
“I wore my scarf I made to work and it was so much fun.
People asked me about it and I said, ‘I made it’
I shared with them that I was able to have a conscious
thought of what it was about. J The making of the
scarf releases bitterness.
I purchased the Worksheet for Making a Fleece Scarf, two
selections of fleece and gave it as a gift to my
daughter. She started making it right away and
found it helpful as she had had a tough day. The
Worksheet shared that the making of the fleece scarf
releases bitterness. I could see the change as
soon she started to cut the fabric.
She wore it out for the night. She looked great! N

Blue Solar
Water is a wonderful way to care for yourself.
learn how to make Blue Solar Water. We selected this
type of mister as it has a fine spray and is small enough to
carry with you.
MK: I love to
use my blue solar water in my mister bottle when I feel a little
irritated or out of sorts.
NS: I have
found that children have wanted to 'spray themselves' with blue
solar water and borrow it from my desk.
The mister
bottles are part of offering ideas or supplies to make the
journey easier.
"Kite
Flying at Shamrock Isle in County Clare, Ireland"
NS: I am looking
forward to a windy day for flying my kite. I asked my
niece if she wanted to join me with her kite. She told me
she takes a plastic bag and ties her string to the handles and
then to a paper towel tube. Wow! Let's see how that
turns out.
MK:
I love flying the kite.. it reminds how easy life can be if I
let go.
NS:
Go fly your kite. It's fun! Check out the Free Kite
Flying Activity in the
March Events for the purpose of
kite flying.
