Chocolate Filled Valentines
Supplies: Mini candy
canes
Lollipop sticks
(optional)
½ chocolate chips
1 ½ teaspoons
vegetable oil
Parchment paper
- Heat oven to 235 degrees. On
parchment – lined baking sheet, arrange the candy canes as heart and bake
them for 5 – 10 minutes. You may add lollipop sticks in this step.
- Slide the hearts still on
parchment paper quickly to a work surface. Pinch each heart to make shape.
- Melt chips and oil in double
boiler or microwave.
- Spoon the chocolate mixture into
the center of each heart.
- Sprinkles or nonpareils can be
used on chocolate if desired.
- Package hearts in bags and add
heart stickers.
- Deliver to your valentine
friends.
- Don’t forget to make one for
yourself.
