A New Freedom 

Each day is a chance to begin anew.  I truly felt this on the 4th of July as we raised the flag and greeted the day.  This flag was a gift I had given my father and it was being flown for the first time today.

            The flag was so special to me.  It had flown over the Capitol Building in Washington D.C. next to the Lady of Freedom, the statue that stands on top of the dome.  As I watched it unfurl and begin to fly I felt honored to be alive on this day.

            The bell added another dimension for me.  My father rang it proudly.  It awakened.

            A New Freedom begins for us all!
